1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains, in plain terms, how creativextreme.net uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, SDKs), what each one does, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” include local storage and tracking pixels. They can be:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (security, load-balancing, basic delivery). These do not need consent.
- Analytics/performance — help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate.
- Functional / preference — remember choices you make.
- Marketing/advertising — we do not use these.
Cookies can also be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a provider such as our CDN or analytics tool), and session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept for a set period).
3. Cookies and trackers we use
We run a deliberately low cookie footprint. As of the “Last updated” date above, the site sets exactly one cookie, and our analytics is cookieless:
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Type / duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Creativextreme (first-party) | Strictly necessary / functional | Remembers your language choice (English / Arabic) so we serve the right version of the site | First-party, persistent, up to 1 year, SameSite=Lax |
For website analytics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless — it measures aggregate, non-identifying usage and sets no cookie and no cross-site identifier. We do not use any advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.
4. Consent
Because the only cookie we set is strictly necessary / functional and our analytics is cookieless, we do not set any non-essential cookies and therefore do not need a cookie-consent banner. If we ever introduce non-essential or tracking cookies, we will update this policy and, for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK, ask for your consent first.
5. How to control cookies
- Your browser: all major browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking the
NEXT_LOCALEcookie simply means the site won’t remember your language preference between visits. - Analytics: our analytics is cookieless and non-identifying, so there is nothing to opt out of.
6. Changes
We will update this policy when our cookie use changes and revise the “Last updated” date.
